Wet N Wild bring out new collections every couple of months and they are always on trend and a little experimental. One of their most recent collections was this Game of Thrones inspired Fire Dragon vs. Ice Dragon Limited Edition* range. It's a smaller collection but includes a good range of various products to help bring out the fire, or the ice within you.
The collection came with two brushes, one with the fire theme and one with the ice theme. I love the ProLine brushes that they have brought out in the past (see my review here), so it's no surprises that these are also great. They have synthetic bristles that are totally cruelty-free and are very soft and easy to work with. The Fire Dragon ProLine Bronzer Brush* compliments the bronzer in the collection with a fluffy domed shape. The Ice Dragon ProLine Highlighting Brush* is smaller in shape with shorter bristles that are more densely packed.
The two powders to compliment the brushes are the MegaGlow Highlighting Powder in Winter Falls in LA* (NZD $12.99) and the ColorIcon Bronzer in You're Dragon Me Down* (NZD $12.99). Both of these feature unique packaging and a special imprint/embossing on the powders themselves. The Highlighter is an icy white with a blue reflect to it. It is a little chunky so best to blend out with a brush and then dab over with a sponge to really make it look seamless on the skin. The bronzer is quite a darker tone, so not for those with pale skin. It is totally matte and buildable, which I prefer and works well to add some colour to the skin.
In the range are two shades of the Megalast Liquid Catsuit Metallic Lipsticks* in the shades Redlings and Icing On The Wall (NZD $12.99 each). The red is definitely a lot more wearable than the blue, but I am sure it will work for someone! The Metallic in these isn't as heavy or as glittery as some metallic liquid lips and they go on smoothly.
I've been an OG fan of Wet N Wild eyeshadows for years now, I am always impressed with the pigmentation and quality you pay for something that is under $10! The Ice Dragon themed quad is in the shade The Night's Quad* (NZD $6.99). In this palette, you get one matte shade (transition) and three shimmers/metallic shades. The silver shade is a stand out!
The Fire Dragon themed Quad is called Dragon's Scales* (NZD $6.99) and is my favourite of the two. The colours all compliment each other beautifully and I especially love the green, it makes for a slightly more interesting but still 'neutral' shadow look.
This did get released last month so it may be a little harder to find in stores now, but check your local Farmers in NZ to see if they have any of the products left. It is still available on the US Wet N Wild website if you live internationally.
Would you be a Fire Dragon or an Ice Dragon?
