The May Bellabox NZ* has arrived and it is packed with products specifically with the theme 'Weekend Skin'. If you are unfamiliar with Bellabox, it is an Australian based monthly beauty subscription box service where you are guaranteed to receive at least 5 products in a range of full size and sample sizes. I've been getting this for around 6 months now and every box has left me impressed.
Before the May box shipped, we were told that there would be a Model Co Highlighter and a Molton Brown product included in the box. That is definitely one of the many pros of Bellabox is that they will often give you a sneak peek of at least 1 product that will be included in the next box. Most of the time if it available in different shades, they will let you chose what one you would like!
The May box contained5 products, 2 full-size product and 3 generous sample sized products.
Enbacci Detoxifying Clay Mask | AUD $44 for 75ml
I am all about a clay mask, and I've not met many I don't like! This is from a brand I have never come across but it promises to draw out impurities and clogged pores while helping to main the hydration levels in your skin so it won't strip you of moisture.
La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermo Cleanser | NZD $28.99 for 200ml
French skincare brand La Roche-Posay is a brand I've wanted to try a lot more products from so I was so pleased to see this in the box. This is like a cleansing oil but has a lighter consistency that helps to remove makeup from the face and eyes.
Molton Brown Delicious Rhubarb & Rose Bath & Shower Gel | NZD $49 for 300ml
Molton Brown products are excessively overpriced for what they are and I don't think I could fork out $50 for a shower gel, but it is lovely to try this sample size to see what the fuss is about. It really smells amazing so I will give them that! Molton Brown is now available in NZ from Smith & Caughey's in store and online.
Country Kitchen Rose & Marshmellow Face Cream | NZD $48 for 60ml
It is always nice being introduced to NZ owned and manufactured brands, and Country Kitchen is made just out of Auckland. This has a very thick texture and it smells beautiful with rose petals and marshmallow root (from a plant that is native to Africa and parts of Europe, used for thousands of years as a herbal treatment - you can read more about it here, it is very interesting!) All the ingredients are 100% organic and it also includes jojoba oil, argan oil, rose quartz infused coconut oil. apricot oil and wheat germ oil just to name a few.
Model Co. Baked Highlighter in Moonshine | NZD $26 for 3.5g
The final product is the one makeup item in the May box and is a gorgeous highlighter from Aussie brand, Model Co. The highlighter has a gorgeous baked marbled effect throughout the powder with flecks of gold and champagne tones. It isn't the most intense or blinding highlighter but blends nicely onto the skin for a shimmery glow.
Overall I really like the theme of this box and all the products inside are ones I will use. The price of the contents of this month was approx. NZD $95 - the Enbacci Clay Mask is almost double the price of what you pay alone!
If you would like to get a Bellabox delivered to you each month, they are $24.95 including delivery in NZ. For the June box, I know for sure there is going to be a Nails Inc. Polish included and you have the choice out of three gorgeous shades - I'm excited!
Have you tried any of these brands before?
