October is now upon us (cue all the Halloween and Pumpkin Spiced Latte posts) and with that means it is time to reflect on the month just gone with my Most Loved September.

Marc Jacobs MJ 504/S-807/HD*
I have become a bit obsessed with designer sunglasses of late thanks to Smart Buy Glasses who kindly gifted me this gorgeous pair from Marc Jacobs. After years of buying $10 sunnies from Cotton On, it is nice to be able to have a few special pairs of sunglasses and these are me to a tee. I love the all black with the gold details that make these look super sleek.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Makeup*
Lately, a lot of foundations that I thought I really liked have not been working for me at all. I end up getting oily super quick, they break up and just look terrible. I have started using Double Wear and I don't know why it has taken me so long! I have been using Double Wear Light for a while which is another fantastic foundation, but the original Double Wear is heavy duty and long lasting. The coverage is great and it just lasts me well throughout the day. This shade is slightly too dark for me right now so I have been using foundation lighting drops to make it work for me.

Colourpop No Filter Concealer
The hype is totally real with the concealer, and although I have only been using it for the past few weeks I really like it (see the rest of my haul here). I got quite a light shade (Light Neutral 15) but it works really well under the eyes to brighten and conceal. It's a formula that blends well but you don't really need much at all!

Go-To Skincare Pinky-Nudey Lips!*
Australian brand. Go-To is one I have seen a lot about on Instagram but never tried and they kindly sent me some products earlier last month. The Pinky-Nudey Lips! Lip Balm has taken centre stage as my balm of choice. This one has a pink tint to it which I like throughout the day as it's also super nourishing on the lips. I will have a post up soon with some more Go-To reviews.

Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara*
Nothing like a new mascara that totally delivers on all fronts. The Monsieur Big Range is a brand new release from Lancome and features the Monsieur Big Eyeliner Marker, Monsieur Big Brow and this mascara. It makes your lashes look super thick, super long, and just all round amazing. It is what I look for in a mascara and is one of the only higher end mascaras that I think is worth the price tag (NZD $49).

Deramlogica Precleanse Balm*
I reviewed this new Precleanse Balm on my blog a couple of weeks back (see it here) but have to give it another mention as it is really a great product. I am all for oils to remove your makeup and the Precleanse Balm does that so well along with the double sided mitt you get with it. It breaks down makeup with ease and makes your skin feel hydrated after use, unlike some other makeup removers which can really dry the skin out. This is going to be perfect to travel with as well.

I have a couple of other Most Loved things - my new blog design and also the fact that I was featured in a bunch of newspapers around New Zealand in an article about NZ's booming beauty industry and how/why it is flourishing at the moment. You can read the full article online here; it was pretty special to be able to have my family and friends open the Saturday paper and see my face in it, a real pinch me moment.

What have you loved this past month?
