Welcome to the world of Charlotte Tilbury, Cass. Yes, this is my very first Charlotte Tilbury product and it certainly will not be my last. I have lusted over her range since it launched; Charlotte seems like the most amazing and inspiring woman, and you just have to look at this amazing makeup line she has created just to realise how dedicated she is to the beauty industry. I was very kindly sent one of the latest Hot Lips K.I.S.S.I.N.G (that is really hard to type quickly!) Lipsticks* which were inspired and made with some of the most well-known women of the moment, such as Nicole Kidman, Kate Bosworth, Miranda Kerr, Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford, and of course, Kim Kardashian-West.
The packaging of her products just blow me away, they're classic and timeless but are still modern, with rose gold accents and deep, luxurious burgundy tones. The lipsticks come in a rose gold bullet, and the actual lipsticks have a unique squared-off tip, with the lips logo imprinted on the side. It feels and looks so luxe.
The Hot Lips range includes two lipsticks formulas, the Matte Revolution and the K.I.S.S.I.N.G., which is more of a traditional creamy formula but packs a punch in the pigmentation department. As you can see in the swatch, the formula is beautiful and densely pigmented with a creamy, almost satin finish. It goes onto the lips with ease and although the formula is creamy, they are very long lasting (although will need replying after eating, particularly). Kim K.W. is a very pale pinky nude, which would suit very pale skin, to a more deeper complexion. I think the shade is so typically Kim, and they have really nailed it with this one. There are so many other gorgeous and covetable shades in the range from plum to vibrant orange.
