I really can not believe how quickly the months are flying by - in fact it is really freaking me out! So it's nearly the end of October, so I thought I would round out this week with the usual round-up of Most Loved and Empties (coming on Friday). This month I was trying out a lot of new products, but there were only a few that really stood out as clear favourites for me.
Moreish Liquid Gold 100% Argan Oil*
I realised I must have really been liking this oil when I am well through half of this bottle already, so I had to include it in this month's Most Loved. I've been reaching for it a lot as I find it gives my skin a lot of nourishment and moisture, but it doesn't make my skin oilier than usual. I use this at night, in place of my usual night cream probably every second or third night, and love how my skin feels in the morning. I've got a more in-depth review of more products from the range here.
Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream*
This has been a relatively new addition to my skincare routine and one that I have been absolutely loving. I reviewed this and a few other products last week (have a read here), but this has been the standout. I find my skin just drinks it up and it works really well under makeup and it doesn't make me too greasy or oily throughout the day.
Essie Gel Setter Top Coat*
After my beloved Seche Vite Top Coat came to a gloppy end, I didn't think I'd find a top coat that would do as good a job as that top coat did, but I think I've found it in this new addition from Essie. You can see it on the nails in this post here, but basically, it gives a really glossy and professional looking finish to the nails. It also dries down so quickly, much like Seche Vite does. The best part about it is that it is easily available from Farmers, unlike Seche Vite which I had to buy online.
Bourjois Air Mat 24h Hold Foundation in 01 Rose Ivory*
This month I went to a Bourjois event to have a sneak peek at some of their new range, and this foundation was part of it. Boy, oh boy, I have not liked a foundation this much in a long time. I have been using this every single day since I got it and LOVING it. It has a very matte finish to the skin, gives medium to full coverage and this stuff sticks around on the skin. Although I haven't done gone the whole 24 hours, it does last comfortably well over 12 hours. If you have oily/combination skin I would seriously recommend this!
Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in 15 Seductive Pink
I put it off long enough, but I finally caved and bought one of these blushes as Farmers recently had 25% Max Factor. This was the one shade that really grabbed me and I have really been loving it. It comes off as a light dusky pink once you swirl your brush in it and I like how easy it is to blend on the cheeks. It has a slight sheen to it, nothing glittery, but it gives you more of a healthy glow to the complexion.
