I've learnt over the past few years that natural skincare is really the best way to go, and caring for your skin and using the right products is extremely important. Living Nature have made this a lot easier by creating the Skin Steps Kits* targeted at your skin type, whether it is Normal, Oily/Combination or Dry/Mature. Each kit contains three 50ml products, and two samples, which allows you to really get a feel for the products to see if they work for your skin.
I've wrote about Living Nature products before, and they have all impressed me greatly. Living Nature is a New Zealand based certified natural skin care and cosmetics brand and they have a wide range of products to hopefully suit everybody. The Skin Steps is actually a revamp of their previous Skin Minis set and they've improved on this by repackaging, making the bottle sizes larger and adding in the bonus samples too.
I have the kit 'to Nourish Normal Skin'; I've previously used the products aimed at oily/combination skin, but lately I have experienced a shift in my skin, which verges on combination/normal at the moment. The three 50ml bottles you receive cover the basics, you get the Vitalising Cleaner, Extra Hydrating Toning Gel and Nourishing Day Cream. The cleanser is a standard cream cleanser, that doesn't foam up but it does a great job at removing any extra traces of makeup, dirt and grime on the skin. The toner is a gel, which I am a bit on the fence about; I think it does a good job at toning the face and adding some hydration, but it takes a while to get used to a gel that sinks into the skin, rather than wiping a cotton round soaked in toner across the skin. The day cream feels light weight, non-greasy and keeps my skin well balanced through out the day.
Along with the three bottles, you also receive some other additions to sample, including the Nourishing Night Cream and Firming Flax Serum. The other two sets have two different samples, that are more suited to that specific skin type.
