There are a few things that take up quite a lot of space in my makeup stash, and one particular thing is blushes. I just love the things, I feel they give back some much needed colour to the face after using foundation, concealer etc, and you can experiment with a lot of different shades, whether they are red, pink, peach, coral; there are just too many options out there. I own a lot of single blushes across a variety of brands but there are only a couple where I own more than 2 or 3 - these Studio Blushes from e.l.f. (Eyes Lips Face) sit in this category and I have six out of the ten available.
So what's so good about them? First off, the price. You can get them for USD $3.99 off Beauty Joint, or just USD $3.00 on iHerb (which has the cheapest shipping option), and both places ship worldwide. So along with the affordable price tag, the quality of these is outstanding. You might think just because they are cheap they won't be any good, but that is so not the case and I find myself reaching for these over some of my higher end/more expensive blushes.
I love the colours they have and the range has matte colours, shimmery ones, as well as quite glittery ones too. They have amazing pay-off, but not so much that they are difficult to work with. You can build them up to the desired colour and they blend like a breeze. The packaging is fairly similar to the much more expensive NARS blushes as they have that matte rubber outer. They're small, compact, have a small mirror and a clear window which makes identifying the colour very easy.
There is also the shade Gotta Glow that is categorized as a blush, but it is far from it, so I haven't included it in the lot. It is a nice highlight shade however, with a golden reflex through it and is very similar to NARS Albatross, but with a lot more fall out.
PINK PASSION // Super bright Barbie style matte pink. [Very close dupe for NARS Gaiety]
FUCHSIA FUSION // I only just noticed that I completely spelled 'fuchsia' wrong on all of these photos, so sorry for that one! This is the most glittery from the lot; it has a darker pink base and has a lot of glitter in it, this works best as a highlight of sorts and used very lightly on the cheeks. [Very close dupe for NARS Angelika]
PEACHY KEEN // I love this shade, it is a peachy/nude base with slight hints of golden shimmer in it.
CANDID CORAL // This is quite similar to Peachy Keen but it definitely had a more pinky undertone. [Close dupe for NARS Luster]
TICKLED PINK // This was the first e.l.f. blush I got and is still one of my favourites. It is just a standard pink shade, only a hint of shimmer and it's a good everyday blush.
BLUSHING ROSE // This is one of the darker ones from the collection and is the perfect Autumn/Winter colour. It is a darker berry with flecks of golden shimmer through it.
What shades take your pick from the bunch? Have you got any of these e.l.f. blushes?
