After getting the Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar from NZ Sale a couple of months ago, I have been hooked on these cute bow bottles of polishes. They are great quality and have an amazing range of shades and are always innovators when it comes to finishes, such as the caviar and feather manicures. NZ Sale had Ciaté on once again so I had to grab some more (prices included are what I paid via. the sale and what they are worth in the UK) and you can expect some fun NOTD posts coming soon.
CHALKBOARD MANICURE // NZD $15.00 [RRP £25.00]
I had seen this floating around on a few blogs and loved the concept and I have to say; it is darn awesome. The set comes with a matte black polish or 'chalkboard paint' as they dub it, which you can then use the pens to doodle and draw on your nails with. You can rub it off with water apparently (haven't tried that out yet) if you mess up and then you seal in your design using the matte top coat. I only had a quick play around with it on one of my nail wheels and I can't wait to try it out on all of the nails!
PAINT POT IN JEWELLERY BOX // NZD $5.00 [RRP £9.00]
Looking back, now I wish had got a couple more of the single bottles. This had a black base and is packed with multi-coloured green, yellow and orange glitters. It dries down to quite a textured finish, very similar to the liquid sands from OPI.
CORRUPTED NEON MANICURE IN SHOUTOUT // NZD $9.00 [RRP £18.00]
These sets are just too awesome for words. First off the holographic packaging is amazing, and it includes 1 bottle of nail polish, a bottle of glitter and a mini UV top coat. I can't wait to try this out; you use the glitter over top of the polish while it is still wet and seal it in with the top coat that makes it glow under a UV light. Now I need to find a UV light or go to a rave...
I knew I was getting a pretty good deal on NZ Sale but didn't quite realise the prices that they are to actually buy them in the UK! I got all three of these plus shipping for under $40 from NZ Sale*. But I did have to wait nearly a month and a half for these to arrive, which is the only downside when ordering from NZ Sale. This was the second time Ciaté was on the sales, so I expect they will be on again [fingers crossed they are!]
Have you used any of these kits, or tried other Ciaté polishes?
