We have come to the very last post in my Mini Mani Series, and last but no least is the Kleancolor 'Be My Daydream' Sweet Romance mini set. You get 6 mini polishes, all in the Valentine theme and it is a nice mix of cream colours and glitters.
So pretty and girly!
001. Barbie Pink
Perhaps the most amazing colour out of the 6 - Barbie Pink is really as described, a colour that Barbie's high heels would be. The photo does not do the colour justice as it is really neon and vibrant. It has a matte finish and this would look incredible in the summer on nicely tanned skin. This is pretty much opaque in 1 coat, but 2 coats make the colour even more bright.
002. Twinkly Love
A Valentine set wouldn't be complete without some hearts, so this polish is perfect for that. It has a clear base and is filled with red, pink and holographic hearts. The best way to apply this is by dabbing the hearts onto the nail instead of swiping as it just ends up wiping them right off again.
003. Light Red
This is just a pretty standard, pure red colour, which is opaque in 1 coat. Although the brush in this one was a bit damaged with half the bristles sticking out to one side, so I just had to be careful when applying it.
004. Pastel Pink
As described in the name, this is a very light pastel pink and fully opaque in 2 coats. This would look great with the Diamond Pink (see below) over top. It also makes a great Spring colour.
005. Diamond Pink
This has a very sheer pink tinge to the base colour but is heavily packed with small bits of silver glitter and you can get a good glitter coverage in 2 coats.
006. Red-Hot
This is a pretty cool colour, with a sheer bright red base and red chunks of glitter in a variety of sizes. this would look great over an opaque red, such as Light Red from this mini pack.
Barbie Pink is a real stand out colour in this set for me, but the others a great as well and give a nice mix of glitter and solid colours to create a variety of Valentine inspired nail looks.
