VESTIGE VERDANT | New Day & Night Creams + Micellar Cleansing Water

VESTIGE VERDANT | New Day & Night Creams + Micellar Cleansing Water - CassandraMyee

I've introduced the luxury organic skincare brand Vestige Verdant on my blog before back in November 2017; it was my first experience trying their products and you can read more about them here. Since then, they have been expanding the brand further with new products being added to the line; the Pure Brilliance Micellar Cleansing Water, the Absolute Hydrance Day Cream and the Complete Recovery Night Cream. The new products are welcomed additions and are ones that I am sure a lot of people would love to add to their skincare regime.

In my final post sharing some of the Snowberry cleansing range, last but not least is the Gentle Cleanse & Tone*. If you have missed my other two posts this week, you can see them here and here. The first post will give you an idea about the brand itself who pride themselves on producing skincare that is suitable for all skin types and all skin concerns utilising the best ingredients both scientific and natural. They are based right here in Auckland, New Zealand and even have a garden further north where they grow and produce a lot of the natural ingredients that get used in their products.

To carry on my week of posts talking about three fantastic cleansers from NZ brand Snowberry, my second post is all about the So Soft Cleanser* designed to be gentle on those with sensitive and acne prone skin. Before you carry on reading, have a skim over my first post here to read a little bit more about the brand and their values. In short, Snowberry is all about providing high-quality skincare products using the latest dermatological studies and best ingredients (of which most are natural and grown and harvested right here in NZ).

SNOWBERRY | Instant Deep Cleanser + Brand Introduction

SNOWBERRY | Instant Deep Cleanser - Review - CassandraMyee #ad #sponsored

It's time to chat cleansers! Cleansers are, in my opinion, one of the most important skincare products that anyone can use. Washing your face doesn't take long, but it will make a huge difference to your skin in the long run. Finding the right cleanser is also important - everyone's skin type is different and there is certainly a cleanser out there to suit and this is where New Zealand owned brand Snowberry* comes in to play.

KOREAN KIWI BEAUTY | Haul + First Impressions

KOREAN KIWI BEAUTY | Haul + First Impressions - CassandraMyee

If there is one place that knows how to do beauty products, it's got to be Korea. K-beauty had always been very popular but over the past few years, I have seen it become more and more readily available especially in New Zealand. The influence of K-beauty on more 'mainstream' Western beauty brands is massive; brand like L'Oreal, Lancome, and Maybelline just to name a few are looking to K-beauty for new and innovative techniques and formulas. Have you seen the 'cushion' products such as blushes and foundations? You have Korean beauty to thank for that! Korean beauty brands are always trying out something new, and the packaging is always very cute and adorable. Here in NZ, Korean Kiwi Beauty* provide an online shop where you can find all of the latest K-beauty products and brands and they'll ship to you in just a couple of days!

HOW TO UP YOUR FLATLAY GAME WITH A LIGHT UP PHONE CASE

TIPS TO UP YOUR FLATLAY GAME WITH LUMEE LIGHT UP CASE - CassandraMyee

You will notice that the majority of my photos I post are 'flatlays', which is blogger jargon for basically a photo taken directly from above like a bird's eye view but on a smaller scale. I don't want to toot my own horn but I do have a knack for the flatlay which has developed over my 4+ years of blogging and creating content for Instagram and my blog. I've recently been playing around with a LuMee Light Up iPhone Case* that not only make your selfies look amazing, but also helps to give you some light to your photos even if the weather is dark and dreary.

As well as the editorial features, their Organic Mask (which I will talk more about below) has won a few awards and is one of their favoured products. So what does this luxury line of products from Estonia have to offer?

YOUR SUMMER MUST HAVE PRODUCTS WITH SALLY HANSEN

SALLY HANSEN | Airbrush Legs - CassandraMyee

With it finally feeling a little bit like summer weather here in NZ, it's time to get those legs out. After the winter months, I know my legs are looking a bit worse for wear and certainly are lacking in colour, but that is where Sally Hansen comes in. Their Airbrush Legs* is one of their cult products and with good reason. It's going to become your new go-to to get your limbs looking amazing for Summer.

Get Red Carpet/Ball Ready with ghd

Get Red Carpet/Ball Ready with ghd - CassandraMyee

With ball/formal season underway in New Zealand, it can always be a stressful time for us ladies trying to decide what to wear, how do we want our hair, do we go for a dark lip or nude... and it goes on! I remember my school formals and dances were always such fun nights and while a few had their hair and makeup professionally done, I always went for the DIY approach. Getting ready with your best friends at home always makes the experience that much better. Although you can go all out, I think sometimes it's good to save a few dollars and put that towards an amazing dress, or some new shoes. ghd offers the perfect hair tools to make getting ready at home, that little bit easier.

SHIPITO FIRST EXPERIENCE | Sephora US Haul using Assisted Purchasing

SHIPITO FIRST EXPERIENCE | Sephora US Haul - Too Faced, Sephora Favourites, Urban Decay, Lancome, Kat Von D, NARS, Smashbox - CassandraMyee

*Sponsored post collaboration with Shipito. Compensation was given for this post and towards using the service All thoughts and experiences my own.

I am an avid lover of online shopping; there is so much more range, and the prices generally work out a bit cheaper depending on the exchange rate. Don't get me wrong, I buy from stores here in NZ a lot, but for things that are hard to get here, or a lot cheaper overseas, I'll go online. The difficulty comes when they either don't ship to NZ at all (or your chosen country), have restrictions on what can be shipped, charge huge shipping prices, or don't accept NZ cards. This is where Shipito* comes into play. They reached out to me and asked if I wanted to try out their service and let you all know how I found it. I used the site exactly as a normal customer would, and here is how it all went.

MY FIRST TIME AT-HOME WAXING WITH MARZENA

MY FIRST TIME AT-HOME WAXING WITH MARZENA - CassandraMyee

Despite being a beauty fanatic, I have never had a wax. Never. Not at a salon, nor at home. I mean, I've had my brows waxed but that's about it. I think the problem is that I have this stigma that it is going to hurt like hell and then I'm just going to end up rashy, but really I just needed to get over that and give it a go. Marzena, a brand that makes at home waxing and hair removal products from New Zealand contacted me asking if I wanted to give a couple of their newly formulated products a test. Finally, it was the chance to ditch my fears and give at home waxing a proper try. Let me tell you the story of my first waxing experience and how I found it.

The Importance of Makeup Artistry | Beauty Book Launches in NZ + Huge Giveaway

As a beauty blogger, I sometimes get asked if I'm a Makeup Artist, as many bloggers and influential YouTubers are qualified makeup artists. However, I'd call myself just your regular makeup enthusiast who likes to waffle on about beauty, I am definitely no makeup artist! I understand makeup, I do it pretty well on myself, but when it comes to doing makeup on other people I find it so difficult. It is a totally different ball game, so I have massive respect for those who are makeup artists.
